Synchrotech's high performance IOFlex PC CardBus to Serial ATA Card allows connections to Serial ATA devices including hard disk drives, RAIDS, and SATA enclosures. The device is fully SATA 1.0 complaint, provides dual DMA channels with separate buffering, and works in both PIO and DMA modes. The Serial ATA Card is supported under Windows 98SE and later. Access Serial ATA devices at speeds up to 1.5Gbps (150MB/sec). The card features a ruggedized form factor in which the ports are integrated via the extended card form factor.
