Synchrotech recommends Keyspan's USB High Speed Serial Adapter for the best compatibility of all USB based adapters. There are, however, certain serial devices that require true host adapters. For these cases, look for system level bus based host adapters to provide serial I/O. For example, on ExpressCard based notebooks, use our PCIe based ExpressCards.
