Description

Sedna's SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 to SATA 6G adapter is designed to support 2.5-inch SATA devices. For use with high-speed SATA 6Gb/s devices including SSD, HDD, and Hybrids. Utilizing SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1's maximum theoretical speeds of up to 10Gbps, the adapter easily accommodates the full bandwidth of SATA 6Gb/s. The SuperSpeed USB to SATA 6G adapter is backwards compatible with SATA devices previous to SATA 6Gb/s.

The SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 to SATA 6G can accomodate 3.5-inch SATA devices when used with an optional 12V AC/DC adapter (sold separately). The adapter is backward compatible with previous versions of USB, but recommended for use with SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 in order to achieve optimal transfer rates. The SuperSpeed+ USB 3.1 adapter provides a versatile means for accessing data on SATA storage devices without having to place those devices in an external case or install in a computer. Optional USB Type-C cable adapters (sold separately) are anticipated to work with the device as well.
