Sandisk MultiMediaCard Serial Pin Interface Pad Configuration

In order to support this wide range of applications, the MultiMediaCard interface protocol is designed for maximum scalability and configurability. All device and interface configuration data (e.g. maximum frequency, supported modes of operation, memory size, card ID, etc.) will be stored on the MultiMediaCard card. A high performance 7 pin serial interface (SPI) allows for easy integration into any design, regardless of microprocessor utilized.
