This USB 2.0 to 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet Adapter allows simple connections to Ethernet networks without the need to install a PCI or PC Card NIC. This plug and play device auto senses network connections and provides 100/10Mbps (megabits) transfers over 10 or 100 Base connections. The Ethernet port accepts a standard RJ-45 connector from the network. The adapter features a hardwired USB connection with a male USB type A connector to plug into an upstream hub or host computer. The bus powered adapter plugs into any USB host or hub port providing 500mA of current and supports energy saving suspend and resume functions to minimize power consumption.
